In each of the following questions, a statement of Assertion is given followed by a corresponding statement of Reason just below it. Of the statements, mark the correct answer as
Assertion : 16x4 – 81 = (4x2 + 9)(4x2 – 9).
Reason : a2 – b2 = (a + b)(a – b).

A If both assertion and reason are true and reason is the correct explanation of assertion.
B If both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of assertion.
C If assertion is true but reason is false.
D If assertion is false but reason is true.

I think the assertion is false as (4x^2-9) can be further simplified as (2x 3)and (2x-3).
